I imagine most people have played at lest one gacha game in their life. Ever since Genshin Impact exploded in popularity on its release in 2020, the gacha scene has felt the ripple effect, resulting in an equal and exponential growth in the genre as a whole. Some of us have even found games we absolutely adore as a result of it, which we wish to see throough to the end. Although I no longer play Genshin Impact, its ‘impact’ on my developmental years, as well as the state of the gaming industry, is worth discussing. As such, I decided to create this blog, in order to discuss the gacha scene as it grows and evolves, and review games I play, both gacha and not.
